In 2011, I spent a month filming Entabeni's lion pride with the Natural History Unit of South Africa's Wildlife Film Academy. An incredible experience, the Academy challenged me to conduct the filming, script writing, and editing of a short film. Along with rigorous work days, I lived in the unpredictable wilderness of Entabeni with five other students. Frequent lion visits, scorpions, and baboon thievery were all part of life in the bush.

I wrote this rap (to the tune of "Men in Black" by Will Smith) as a way to teach students about thermohaline circulation, which is the force that controls deep-ocean currents.

This is a video I compiled from my family's various recordings of my little brother and sister. The adorable subject matter overshadows the amateur style.
